The Arbor View Parent Teacher Council would like to say Thank You all the parents, teachers and student who took the time to sell raffle tickets this year. Together we were able to raise almost $9,000!
We really had some amazing participation. The Top selling student is Aiden Riza, from Miss Vrankin's class. Aiden wins a family pool pass for 4 from the Butterfield park District! The class with the highest ticket sales, and the winner of the Ice Cream and Pajamas class party is Mrs. Smith's class. They pulled out the win by only 7 tickets! Congratulations to the student winners.
The October cash winners were drawn at the PTC meeting with Morgan Aiello winning $25, Judy Gervase winning $50 and Julie Peterson with the $100 win. More winners next month!
The money raised through this raffle directly benefits the programs and activities of the Arbor View PTC. The Arbor View PTC works hard to fund many social, cultural and educational events for Arbor View school and the surrounding community. We thank you all for your participation and look forward to your support in the future.

Mrs. Smith's class is still in need of a room parent for the school year. The position really doesn't require a whole lot of work. Mainly coordinating for parties and class gifts, which can be done through email. The kids are unable to participate in the parties if there isn't a parent to take on this role so please consider volunteering, If you have any questions or would like to take on this easy task, contact Debbie Damato at damatohouse@msn.com. Hope to hear from someone soon and thank you!

The owner is great and very excited to work with us. Our fundraiser at Orno’s will be Sunday, September 8 from 3 to 10 PM so spread the word to family and friends. The more people we bring in the more money he’ll give us back. Upcoming Restaurant Nights: Sunday 9/8 @ Orno’s 3-10PM |

The Arbor View Elementary School Parent Teacher Council would like to extend our sincerest gratitude for your support of Project Playground over the past three years. We are excited to announce that at the Arbor View PTC meeting on April 24th, we voted to approve the appropriate funds to be used to build our new playground!!! We plan on breaking ground this June and will be completed by the start of the 2018/19 school year. Thank you to everyone in our community who has supported this project; we could not have done it without you! Arbor View PTC works diligently to fund many social, cultural and educational events, and with the generous support from you we will now realize our dream of a new playground this summer. The commitment and support of our community directly benefits the students and will provide a new, barrier-free playground and outdoor classroom for the students at Arbor View Elementary School.
One key factor in the success of our school is the fantastic amount of parent and family involvement throughout the year. PTC has prepared and published a Community Involvement and Volunteer Opportunities Brochure. In this brochure, you will find a brief overview of many of the ways you can get involved, from small one-time tasks to long-term committee positions which aligns with the information on the Volunteer page of this website. Most of the activities and positions listed require multiple volunteers to ensure success, and we never turn down a helping hand!
