The Project Playground committee was initiated in 2016 and successfully worked towards building a new all-inclusive playground for Arbor View Elementary and the surrounding community in 2017.  See the Fundraisers tab for additional information.

Spring 2019 Legacy Brick Ordering

Would you like to leave a lasting mark at Arbor View and support the maintenance and enhancement of our new playground? We are once again accepting orders for engraved bricks to be installed along the sidewalk at Arbor View!  This is a great way to commemorate your support of Arbor View in a public and lasting way! It is also a unique opportunity to celebrate a student “graduating” from Arbor View this spring!  DEADLINE FOR SPRING 2019 ORDERS IS FRIDAY, MARCH 1 if you would like your brick installed by the end of this school year!  You can pay by cash, check or credit card.

Fall 2017 Let's Swing It! Sponsorship Campaign

Dear Arbor View Community,

The Project Playground Committee is excited to present the Fall 2017 Let’s Swing it! Equipment Sponsorship Campaign which offers sponsorship opportunities of specific pieces of playground equipment to local businesses and corporations, civic and community groups, families, and individuals. Recognition of contributors, by level, will be displayed on our Sponsorship Plaque for the life of the playground.

Our playground is in need of replacing. Exposed and rusted metal, cracked plastic, repaired welds, and an eroded play surface are just some of the problems. The space is no longer inspiring to students and falls short of addressing the developmental needs of all our children.

The Project Playground committee has worked diligently over the last two years to secure funds. At this point in time, we have raised $60,500 of the total anticipated equipment project cost of $80,000. We must now secure the additional funds and community support to make this playground a reality.
